Industrial Series — What Makes It Different
The Castair Industrial line is built with components that the competition charges extra for — or doesn't use at all. Full cast iron pumps with steel connecting rods (not the cheap aluminum rods found on most competitors). Tapered roller bearings instead of plain bushings. Stainless disc and spring valves that last roughly 10 times longer than standard reed valves and are easy to replace when the time comes.
The key spec to pay attention to is pump RPM: 420. That is slow by industry standards, and that's the point. Bigger bore and stroke at a slower speed means this compressor produces more air while running cooler and quieter than competitors pushing the same CFM at higher RPMs. Speed kills compressor pumps — Castair's approach is the opposite.
