A duplex air compressor puts two independent pump-and-motor assemblies on a single ASME-certified tank. When one pump goes down for scheduled maintenance or an unexpected repair, the other keeps your shop running. That's not a luxury — for fleet operations, production floors, and busy independent shops, it's the only practical design. Cast Air's Duplex Series runs from 10 HP (2×5) through 30 HP (2×15), with single and 3-phase configurations available on smaller models and 3-phase on the larger units.

Every Duplex unit uses the same cast iron pump platform as Cast Air's Industrial Series — made in Spicer, Minnesota by a family-owned manufacturer since 1991. You're getting the same all-cast-iron construction, just doubled up. Factory options include alternators, aftercoolers, magnetic starters, and hour meters so you can spec the package your install actually requires rather than adding components in the field.
