The Castair R10112HG11 is a 10 HP rotary screw air compressor on a 120-gallon horizontal tank, running on single-phase power. It delivers 40 CFM at 100 PSI with a 100% duty cycle — meaning it can run continuously without overheating or needing cool-down periods. If your shop has air tools running all day, a rotary screw is the right type of compressor for the job.
This is part of Castair's Rotary-Piston hybrid line. Under normal operation, the rotary screw runs continuously as designed. If no air is required for 10 minutes, the rotary shuts down and goes into standby mode until demand returns. This saves electricity without you having to think about it.
