Castair Hour Meter 460V Duplex Mounted Pair (HRM460X2M)
The HRM460X2M is a factory-mounted pair of 460-volt hour meters for Castair duplex three-phase compressor systems. A duplex installation runs two separate three-phase compressor units on an automatic alternating relay (the ALT460), with each unit taking turns. The HRM460X2M gives each unit its own independent hour counter — installed and wired at the Castair factory — so you can track exactly how many hours each pump has accumulated, independently, over the life of the system.
This is the 460V version of the HRM75x2M. If your duplex installation runs on 460V three-phase power, the HRM460X2M is the correct factory option. If it runs on 230V single-phase, you want the HRM75x2M instead.

Why Independent Hour Meters Matter on a Duplex System
The ALT460 alternating relay does its best to equalize runtime between units, but it is not perfect. Different load cycles, occasional manual overrides, or one unit being down for service will create hour discrepancies between the two pumps over time. Individual hour meters let you see exactly where each unit stands. When Unit A is at 750 hours and Unit B is at 650 hours, you know which oil change comes first and which valve service is approaching.
