Castair Hour Meter — 460 Volt (HRM460)
The HRM460 is the 460-volt hour meter for three-phase Castair compressors running on 460V power. It is the same concept as the HRM75 — counts actual pump-running hours, non-resettable counter, connects to the motor circuit — but rated for the higher voltage of three-phase 460V industrial power. If you are running a three-phase Castair compressor on 460V and want to track operating hours, the HRM460 is the correct meter. Do not attempt to install a standard 277-volt-maximum meter on a 460V circuit; the 460V supply will damage or destroy a meter not rated for it.

HRM460 vs. HRM75 — Which Voltage Do You Need?
This is a critical distinction. Wrong voltage meter goes on the wrong compressor and you either damage the meter or get no reading:
- HRM75 (24-277V): For single-phase compressors — 120V, 208V, 230V, 240V. Also 24V control circuits.
- HRM460 (460V) — THIS PRODUCT: For three-phase 460V compressors. Required for proper operation on 460V power.
- HRM50 (Gas Engine): For gasoline-engine compressors — connects to ignition circuit, not AC power.
Check your compressor's nameplate. If it says 460V / three-phase, you need the HRM460. If it says 230V / single-phase or similar, you need the HRM75.
Factory-Mounted Option
The HRM460M is the factory-mounted version of this meter — ordered as an option on new Castair compressors and installed at the factory before shipment. If you have an existing 460V Castair compressor that was delivered without an hour meter, order the standalone HRM460 and install it yourself.
