Castair C-CF12 Coalescing Filter -- 1/2-inch NPT, 105 CFM, 250 PSI
The Castair C-CF12 is a 1/2-inch NPT coalescing filter rated for 105 CFM at 250 PSI maximum. It uses a 0.01-micron DPI element to capture oil aerosols and submicron water mist that standard particulate filters cannot remove. This is the entry-level port size in the Castair coalescing filter lineup -- the right choice for single-bay shops, branch line drops, or any application where a 1/2-inch supply line is the standard connection.
A 5-micron particulate prefilter must be installed upstream of the C-CF12. For 1/2-inch lines, pair with the Castair C-FS12 particulate filter. The replacement element for this filter is the C-F7 (7000 series coalescing element).

Prefilter Requirement
The C-CF12 requires a 5-micron particulate prefilter installed upstream. Operating without the prefilter loads the coalescing element with particulate it was not designed to handle, reducing both element life and filtration effectiveness. For 1/2-inch lines, the Castair C-FS12 is the matched prefilter.
