Important: Piston Oil Is Not Rotary Screw Oil
The QT10W30 is for piston compressors only. Do not use piston oil in a rotary screw compressor. Rotary screw air ends require synthetic oil specifically formulated for the continuous shear environment of a screw air end — that is the GA4000 or FG4000. Using piston oil in a rotary screw will cause foaming, overheating, and premature air end failure.
