The 460V version (R1038VP75-460) is the same compressor running on 460V 3-phase. The 460V version draws approximately half the amperage for the same horsepower output, which can mean smaller wire gauge requirements and less heat on long wire runs. The CFM output and tank size should be the same between the two. Choose 230V if your existing service is 230V. Choose 460V if your service is 460V. Do not mix them.
