Who Needs the Cube Configuration
The cube format solves specific problems that a standard compressor does not. If your existing tank is sound but the pump has failed, a cube replacement is substantially less expensive than replacing the entire unit — you keep the tank, replace the working parts. If you are building out a service truck and need to mount a 10HP 3-phase compressor in a custom compartment where the tank is remote or under the truck body, the cube format is the only practical option. For shops with very limited floor space who have a remote elevated tank, the cube mounts on the wall or frame near the tank with a much smaller footprint than any self-contained unit.
