Castair CLB1212 — 1/2" x 1/2" Inline Check Valve, NPT Female Inlet/Outlet
The CLB1212 is a 1/2-inch by 1/2-inch NPT female inline check valve from Castair. It is the most common size in the Castair CLB inline check valve series — matching the 1/2-inch line size found in most garage and small commercial shop air systems. One-way flow in, automatic check on backpressure, female NPT threads on both ends.
Use the CLB1212 wherever you need to prevent compressed air from flowing backward in a 1/2-inch line: between a compressor pump and the receiver tank, at branch points in multi-zone systems, or in any configuration where maintaining one-way flow is critical to system integrity or safety.
What This Unit Does
- One-Way Flow Control: Air flows through in the intended direction. When upstream pressure drops, the check closes automatically and holds downstream pressure.
- 1/2" NPT Female Both Ends: Thread male nipples or fittings into each port — no special adapters needed for standard 1/2-inch pipe installations.
- Inline Body: Straight-through design installs directly in the pipe run without offset.
