Castair CLB112112 — 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" Inline Check Valve, NPT Female Inlet/Outlet
The CLB112112 is a 1-1/2-inch by 1-1/2-inch NPT female inline check valve from Castair. It is the largest unit in the Castair CLB inline check valve series, built for high-volume industrial compressed air distribution systems where main line pipe size reaches 1-1/2 inches.
This check valve allows compressed air to flow in one direction only. When upstream pressure drops below downstream pressure — on compressor shutdown, during standby, or in multi-compressor installations — the valve closes to prevent backflow. Female NPT connections on both ends thread directly into standard pipe fittings, manifolds, or flanged adapters.
What This Unit Does
- One-Way Flow Control: Prevents reverse flow in the compressed air line when upstream pressure drops. The check closes automatically — no manual operation required.
- 1-1/2" NPT Female Both Ends: Threads onto male nipples or male-threaded fittings on each end. Standard pipe threads — no special adapters or custom fittings needed.
